I’ll say this. You guys seem pretty unbiased, almost suprisingly so given that you can’t sell a lot of the mortgages you talk about (am I right?). If that counts for anything CMT should win. J.P.

Yes, there are lenders we don’t deal with directly (like RBC and BMO). However, we do refer people to those lenders quite frequently if we determine they have the best product for the client’s needs.
In the fall we must have referred dozens of people to HSBC branches (which don’t compensate planners) because HSBC was running it’s Prime – 1% variable promo. It was a decent product and the lowest variable rate at the time–so it made sense.
