It’s hard not to be awed and moved by the massive devastation in Haiti. The people down there need help desperately and people need to step up.

This is a good cause Rob. The destruction visible in Haiti as light broke today was dreadful. I hope and pray that many people come to their aid.

CNN is estimating over 100,000 dead. What an unbelievable tragedy.
Thank you for the link to the Red Cross. I think it is important for those of us who are fortunate to make a donation.
I donated $50 on Tuesday as soon as I heard about it. I knew it was the next tsunami given how poor that country is. I think 100,000 is quite a conservative estimate. It would be much more and I can only hope that more people would donate to help. I read in today’s paper that the Red Cross over there is in rough shape and the UN is in even more brutal shape because many of their staff died in the quake. The younger crowd can donate by simply sending a text message with their mobile.
