The information value of CMT would be vastly diminished without reader commentary.
Feedback from the community adds context and insights that no one source, including us, can provide on its own.
Readers also keep things interesting with exchanges that are, at times, entertaining and spirited to say the least. For that reason, we extend our deepest appreciation to those of you who interacted with the site in 2011 for the benefit of others.
We’d also like to extend a special thanks to the year’s top 20 commentators listed below.

Tabulating this data is a time-intensive manual process. Sampling was therefore limited to those who left at least one or more comments in the last three months and provided a valid email address. The “posts” numbers above reflect each commentator’s total posts for the year.
In addition to the above, countless others have contributed invaluable insights, albeit less frequently. Our gratitude goes out to those individuals as well because a single shrewd comment can help thousands of others.

Thanks for the mention on your blog. It has been always a pleasure to read your posts and learn a lot about our industry.
Now can you further break that down to what astrological sign each commentator is. The Chatham, Ontario police force found that Aries were the most arrested in 2011. Maybe there is a trend here.
great work!! looking forward to 2012 and your insight into this very interesting business…brokers have 27% of the business, meaning there is 73% available…

Dear Robert,
Wow, you should be very proud of the job that you and your team do with CMT. All contributors deserve the recognition as its easy to stand back and watch, to let the tide take you where it may, so to speak!!! Spirited debates, different points of view and open forums create dialogue that sometimes significantly improve our industry, and its those that contribute that make a true difference. I am a huge fan of CMT and know that you spend countless hours day and night working hard to make CMT relevant, accurate and informative. Thanks Rob!!!
Hi Gary, Mark, NB and Sudip,
Your comments were very gracious. Thank you.
It’s a privilege (and fun) to explore this fascinating industry together with such a knowledgeable community.
Best of fortunes to all in 0’12!
Cheers,
Rob
