This position reports to the Manager.

Main challenges

The successful candidate is to ensure the management of human, financial and material resources while supervising activities. You will act as a leader in your field of expertise and contribute to achieving the business objectives of your unit and the Bank. You will also participate in defining your sector’s orientations relating to support activities. One of your challenges will be to mobilize your team to achieve sound management and support them in a dynamic manner in meeting their objectives in order to ensure the effectiveness and profitability of your sector.

Specifically, you will:

  • Oversee a team of management employees and create a stimulating work environment by consolidating your leadership role
  • Maximize the contribution of personnel by setting performance objectives that will lead your team to surpass itself, while ensuring follow-up and achievement of these objectives
  • See to the development of your employees and improve their skills through personalized coaching, with a view to ensuring succession planning for the organization
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders involved in the sector’s activities in order to optimize relations
  • Implement management and operations strategies and ensure the development and implementation of appropriate work systems and processes with a view to improving the effectiveness, productivity and profitability of your sector
  • Participate in operational changes and identify irregularities in operations, systems and equipment while ensuring that permanent corrections are made
  • See to the development and follow-up of a business plan for your sector based on the strategic orientations of the Bank
  • Stay abreast of technological advances and new work processes capable of improving the Centre’s productivity and lowering its operating costs


  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience or completed Master’s degree and four years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge of Retail Credit products including mortgages and experience in retail lending
  • Knowledge of Filogix systems would be an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in personnel management
  • Strong change management skills
  • Strong team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent is English (spoken and written); French is an asset
