DEFAULT MANAGEMENT & CLAIMS OFFICER
is currently seeking a Default
Management & Claims Officer to
join our growing Toronto team.
Working in a customer-centric environment, the ideal candidate must have effective communication, analytical and problem solving skills, along
with a passion for delivering superior customer service. This position provides support
and assistance to our lender partners in the processing and settlement
of Claims and in Default Management.

and review lender Claim submissions, including all supporting documentation, and prepare Claim packages with recommendation for settlement.
of all underwriting and
legal documents, as required
Manage Claims via the Canada Guaranty Vantage platform and provide
support to external partners
with online Claim submissions.
Communicate effectively with lenders and other third party partners, both verbally and in writing,
to provide ongoing updates throughout
the Claim and Default Management processes.
delinquent files to identify and develop suitable workout solutions that support the
lender’s objectives, while ensuring all Canada Guaranty guidelines are satisfied.
and maintain lender relationships to
support our partners in the area of Loss
lenders are knowledgeable about,
and operate within, the established Canada Guaranty
and industry guidelines for both Claims and Default Management
in the management of all general Claims and Loss Management inquiries through
effective and timely correspondence.

Required Skills and Experience
Experience in any
or all of the following areas: Claims
Default Management, Mortgage Recovery and Collection processes.
of the Mortgage Foreclosure/Power
of Sale process, including
legal differences by province, is an asset.
Familiarity with the standard
lender/insurer Underwriting Guidelines, Claims
Practices, and Homeownership
Solutions Program is beneficial.
