Banking Consultants are integral to the growth and success of
Manulife Bank & Trust. To help us continue our success and achieve our
objectives, we are expanding our Sales team across Canada through the addition of Banking
Consultants in various locations.

Manulife Bank & Trust is looking for dynamic self-starters who
are energized by the thought of earning rewards based on their own high
performance.  Banking Consultants will be responsible for networking with
financial advisors and, based on the advisors’ referral, selling Manulife
Bank’s suite of products, including the innovative Manulife One, to
their clients.  In addition, the Banking Consultants will also develop
their own client base in order to sell the Bank’s suite of banking solutions.

We are currently recruiting for sales professionals in
various territories across Canada.

About the Bank: Manulife Bank & Trust offers innovative
deposit, investment and loan products to make financial plans a reality. The
products are available through an extensive network of financial advisors,
brokers and banking consultants. Customers manage their accounts with
comprehensive Internet and telephone banking services and ABM access.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell the Manulife Bank suite of
    banking solutions, including the innovative Manulife One, to the
    clients of interested advisors;
  • Develop a consumer client base to
    facilitate the direct sale of the Bank’s suite of products. This will
    be done through prospecting, fact finding, presenting solutions and
    servicing;
  • Assist Manulife Bank & Trust
    in the promotion and sale of new lending and deposit products and special
    initiatives through phone calls, electronic and direct mail, and
    face-to-face presentations.

 

Special Conditions:

  • Please note, this is a home based
    opportunity however, the majority of your time will be spent in the field.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales,
    banking, mortgage, lending and/or financial advisory experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal and
    communication skills;
  • Highly motivated, self-starter;
  • Understanding of the financial
    services industry is a definite asset.
