In the interests of our readership, outbound linking requests are evaluated on the following basis:
- Except in rare or story-related circumstances, CMT links only to sites that:
- Have been in existence for 6 months or more
- Are regularly updated with value-added content
- Have a Google PageRank of 2 or greater
- Are non-biased and well written
- CMT does not entertain reciprocal link requests under any circumstances because of the multitude of requests we receive and the adverse search engine effects of doing so. CMT therefore will not link to any site that links to CMT for a minimum of three months from the date the site linked to CMT.
- In addition to the above, CMT gives additional consideration to sites that refer us traffic or who add regular value-added comments for the benefit of our readers.
