Established in 1994, Mortgage Professionals Canada is the national mortgage broker industry association representing the largest and most respected network of mortgage professionals in the country. Our over 13,500 members are drawn from every province and from all industry sectors. This diversified membership enables us to bring together key players with the aim of enhancing professionalism.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our education team. Reporting to the Director, Education, the Senior Instructor is responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of learning and training services to MPC members and individuals within the mortgage industry. The successful candidate is an energetic individual who has the following skills, talents, and experience, including proven ability to plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction based on the approved curricula.
Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction based on the approved curricula and training objectives
Updating and revising current training material, developing and maintaining training schedules, curriculum and evaluations
Control quality of materials and training resources;
Coordinate and schedule courses
Source and schedule facilitators (incl. regional and external providers)
Provide students with academic support and advice and refer them for additional assistance as required
Performs all duties inherent in an Instructor/Professional Technical role.
Perform other duties and assistance as required to support the Association
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years related experience in a training capacity (i.e. Call Centre customer service, sales training, management training)
Strong training, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrated highly effective presentation skills
Proven ability to design and deliver training programs
Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Technical writing / documentation experience an asset
A passion for learning and demonstrated record of continuous self-improvement through formal and informal learning
